The Absence of Knowing

In a few years we might be married,
Might be strangers to eachother too
And all the memories we carried
Will have narrowed down to just a few

So in the absence of knowing
What the future holds for me and you
We’ll listen to the wind blowing
Reminding us of what is true

Sophie Kuhn
