bitch

i won’t ask you how your day was. i won’t wonder why you take so long to come home, or why you always smell different. just come back to me, i’m waiting by the door. stay, like you always tell me to—that’s all i want

Mackenzie Macrol
is an author and poet. She is currently an undergraduate student at Bellevue College with plans to major in English or communications. Emboldened by the pandemic, her once childhood hobby has transformed into a lifelong passion. By exploring love through her work, she hopes to connect with readers and share what may be a new perspective.
